3d/VFX Artist

They are a business known for moving image creative and post-production work for global consumer brands. They produce boundary pushing moving image from cgi and vfx, to 2d animation, and live action. You can expect to see music videos, commercials, titles, and lots more on their website.
They now seek a full time 3d/VFX Artist join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have, most importantly a super slick and put together reel. The content and craft displayed on your folio/reel are really important.
Experience sought;
- A showreel consisting of 3d/cgi and vfx projects
- Experience working on live projects, but also pitches and treatments too
- Slick 3d animation skills
- High degree of proficiency in tools Cinema 4D, After Effects and Nuke
- Experienced in working at a post-production based motion studio.
Desirable skills:
- 2D hand drawn illustration
- Cel Animation
- Any experience in Houdini or Unreal
This is a hybrid position, based in London. You will be surrounded by incredibly talented team of motion cgi and vfx professionals, and be exposed to work you will be proud to include in your next showreel. The main benefit here is exposure global work, that you will be proud to show in your reel.

Motion Designer (conceptual)

Well, it’s an opportunity within a top calibre motion studio in London, a studio who hold creativity at the heart of all work be it 2d or 3d in style, or film.
They will encourage you to ideate and explore your concepts, and you will be involved right till the end.
The employer is an award-winning motion studio, based in Shoreditch with clientele across sectors tech, fashion, arts & culture, broadcast and more.
They seek a motion designer to join their team full-time; a central role in shaping all creative output of the studio. This is for you if you’re a driven professional who’s eager to deliver on exciting creative briefs, have solid skills in 2D and 3D motion design, as well as having a thirst for new technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Get involved from conceptual and ideation stage in all project. Being able to visually and verbally articulate your ideas to your team, and to your client.
- Create, design and animate in 2D & 3D, using the Adobe suite, cinema 4d, and (to some degree) unreal engine.
- Supporting in the bidding for new projects, contributing to the development of creative and production proposals
- Promoting and being a crucial part of company culture and values
- Conceiving and pitching design concepts to brands and clients, in collaboration with Design Director or Creative Director.
- Continuously discovering new tools, processes and ideas, adding to the breadth and diversity of creative development.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience within a conceptual motion design role, (although we consider all levels)
- Ability to design concepts, and animate them
- Proficient in Cinema 4D, Adobe CC and an understanding of Unreal Engine
- Passionate about film & video and the creative industries, as well as taking pride in yours and the studio’s work
- Understanding of visual storytelling and how to translate complex ideas into engaging visuals
- Excellent organisation, communication and collaboration skills

Motion Designer (brand expression)
Moving Image & Film / Ref: PM-34059An opportunity to work on ‘motion first’ brand identity projects, as a Motion Designer.
London based internationally recognised brand design agency seeks freelance Motion Designer on a project-by-project basis. Agency collaborates with brands who possess the creative ambition to deliver fresh innovative design work. Presently they have an 8 week project on, with a possible for a further 6 week extension.
Responsibilities include;
- Collaborate with brand identity designers
- Explore and expand their concepts, and experiment with motion graphics early on in the project
- Contribute to the project by providing motion ideas on brand expression.
- Able to bring brand design identity ideas to life in 2d
- Work in 3d to design, build, render, animate brand logo marks
What we are looking for;
- A showreel exhibiting your proudest and best work as a motion designer, from within the last 3-4 years.
- High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and in Cinema 4d.
- A CV& showreel demonstrating your experience within brand identities as a motion designer
- Demonstrate brand expression work in your showreel
- Demonstrate 3d logo mark design and animation in your showreel
- It would be a bonus, should you have expertise in editing videos using adobe premiere pro.
