Business Development Director

Peas has the pleasure of once more partnering up with a great independent, multi-service creative agency who specializes in social impact projects.
Currently seeking a positive, collaborative, and proactive person to join the team as the Business Development Director.
In this new role, you will work closely with the Founder/Creative Director to shape the overall vision and positioning of the client, and proactively drive new business and partnership opportunities to drive creativity, innovation, and revenue for the studio.
Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Work collaboratively with the internal team to ensure that all client outreach and proposal decks are concise and compelling. This includes
- working with Founder/Creative Director to align on new business priorities and communicate them clearly to the Project Director and Operations Manager to ensure resource allocation.
- Align on and interrogate new business briefs to ensure any and all activity the studio engages in strengthens and supports our overall positioning and drives new business opportunities.
- Present and pitch new business and partnership opportunities to clients.
- Provide insightful input into how to position our new business propositions to potential clients/partners.
- Provide industry insights and research to inform the work the wider team is creating.
- Regularly report on the general position of business development to the Founder/Creative Director and Finance Director.
- Act as ambassador and representative for the studio at industry events as and when required.
Key Candidate Strengths & Experience:
- This is a role ideally suited for someone with 4-5 years experience in a similar role (as well as a handful of years with wider industry experience).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident and compelling presentation skills.
- Motivated with great initiative.
- Experience successfully developing, closing and managing large partnership deals.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and a supportive, proactive approach both internally and externally.
- Great client experience and strong, established relationships with key contacts with partners across sectors including (but not limited to) the arts/culture, luxury goods, fashion, and media.
- Strategic and pragmatic when it comes to tackling challenges and problem-solving.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment to oversee multiple projects and tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills to track and measure sales pipeline.
- Champion the values, beliefs, and expertise of the studio.

Brand Marketing Manager
Marketing / Ref: MMWT33949Rare opportunity for a Brand Marketing Manager to join a global sports/streetwear’s newly formed concept studio – running all brand activation for 2023. This is a 9 month FTC with a view to perm.
The concept studio has been set up to challenge convention in order to elevate creativity and was co-founded by a renowned conceptual CD. Together the brand / business aim to create good ideas that turns heads without the need for big PR budgets.
They’re looking for a conceptual/culturally in-tune Brand & Communications Manager with a guerrilla approach to collaborate with a handpicked selection of top talent: people who care about art, design, and fashion (but do not need to be a “fashion” person).
The perfect candidate would have an on-the-pulse view of the world around them and bring a unique point of view to the table. It is a team of no egos, so objective backing for your ideas is a winning ingredient.
This role is concept AND execution. You do not have to be a sneaker person, all CVs welcomed.
Key ingredients for the role
– Lover of brand activations, concepts, PR, and Comms, having worked in similar titles in the past.
– From an entertainment, fashion, music background.
– Might have worked for a youth culture publication or media establishment.
– Might have worked in-house for a brand managing brand/comms planning and brand activations.
– Lots of experience writing marketing calendars, running accounts, and day-to-day reporting to clients.
– Ability to come up with interesting new ideas that turn heads and reposition businesses as the best in their field.
– On the pulse with what’s going on culturally. Latest trends. So able to confidently bring their own unique and objective POV.
– A high level of written communication is essential. As are presentation skills (including a willingness to present to client).
– Lover of close knit-teams and the buzz of in-office creative collaboration. Each team member is unique, and roles are not siloed.
– Has a great understanding of brands/people/artists and who they might collaborate with, and why. Including why brands exist, and how/why an intersection would benefit both.
– Experience working with brand strategists and creative directors to bring ideas to life in a marketing capacity.
– Able to objectively present who we collab with, when, what platforms do we tap into, and why. How it all works.
– Able to create concept launch plans for ideas going to pitch across digital/content/activations
– Understands how ideas transition from concept to reality and able to bind this into their thinking

Marketing / Ref: LM-33948Peas are once again partnering with a world-renowned Branding / Creative Agency. Their clients are international, their work iconic. They now need an all-round Marketing Lead to amplify their own brand for a wider audience and prospective clients.
You will be in charge of the marketing plan for an agency with over 50 people, and have the freedom to bring your own ideas to the table and truly take ownership of content, its delivery and impact.
Role & responsibilities:
