Interim Global Head of Social Media
Social / Ref: MMWT33964Sustainable fashion brand looking for for a Head of Social Media, FTC.
The role will require you to work with multiple stakeholders across departments and regions, working closely with the Global Marketing Director, Global Communications Director, and Global Visual Director to align on social messaging, and working with regional Head of Communications to localise global strategy on local social channels and digital networks, regularly providing reports and presenting to CEO.
You’ll be available immediately and come with highly proficient at market, trend, and data analysis. You’ll be extremely passionate about all things social, have exceptional taste level, and love of fast-paced environments.
You’ll take pride in unifying creative output across markets and working with the creative teams to attend shoots as and when needed as a social guardian.
This is NOT a creative content production role.
Other skills:
- Build a cross-channel social media strategy with Global Marketing Director and key internal stakeholders (PR& Communications, Creative and Content, Brand and Product Marketing teams).
- Oversee integration of social analytics tools and develop measurement dashboard alongside central and local marketing teams.
- Build and implement community management best practices with Social Media Manager and Social Media Coordinator/Assistant.
- Ownership of social media processes, content, copy, layout approvals and release with senior stakeholders.
- Share deep social platform expertise, learnings, trends, formats, nuances - develop industry first ideas, innovate and scale.
- Work with licensing teams on social reporting through Radarly and Linkfluence tools across social listening, competitor benchmarking, owned and earned media performances.
- Develop clear and measurable KPIs, implement performance metrics and goals with ongoing optimisations.
- Regular performance reviews: content, audience, social listening tools, competitors.
- Work with Dash Hudson on new reporting, tracking capabilities participating in beta launches receiving early access to new features from the tool to propel brand forward with new learnings and insights.
- Develop weekly and monthly recaps of learnings and results; generating and understanding reporting with the ability to read data and turn it into useful insights.
- Grow brand presence across existing and emerging social platforms.
- Build new processes and improve social operations.
- Regular liaison with key markets to build strategies and connections with local teams managing organic and paid social across all channels but not limited to FB/IG, LinkedIn, Pinterest, SnapChat, TikTok, Weibo, WeChat, RED, Douyin, LINE.
- Syndication of social content with the support of local teams implementing global strategy at local level for Weibo, WeChat, RED, Douyin in China and LINE in Japan.
- Manage a small team of social media experts at HQ (Social Media Manager, Social Media Coordinator and Social Media Assistant/Intern).
Requirements: Social Content
This role will be founder-facing, working directly with our founder at times to get content approvals and make necessary edits to bring founder’s vision and creative direction to life on social channels.
- Oversee management of social content briefs submitted to the Creative Team, implement a strategic approach to content mix (brand, product, press, partners, founder personal content etc).
- In partnership with Creative team and Global Visual Director, build social rollouts with a hybrid data/creative approach for upcoming week, month, campaign(s) for approval by the founder, working closely with in-house Art Director(s) on all the social content pre and post shoots.
- Work closely with in-house producer(s) to deliver social content and provide Founder’s feedback for all edits required.
- Support with coordination of content across other digital departments that will utilise social content (Digital, Paid Media, CRM, Website/E-Commerce).
Qualifications & Attributes:
- Strong leadership qualities, able to drive change and lead teams with can do attitude.
- Ability to adapt, learn quickly, be resourceful and under pressure to meet deadline.
- Experience prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, adapting with changing priorities, and balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrable experience in driving social media channels through organic and paid tactics.
- Experience building social first content to drive engagement, acquire new followers and generate brand heat focused on Instagram and TikTok.
- Proven track record of defining, implementing, and delivering social plans as well as delivering success at scale.
- Creative and analytical mind that thrives in data-driven environments.
- Experience managing senior business stakeholders and multiple dependencies.
- Proven ability to coordinate outcome of Creative & Production teams (in-house and external).
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing and significant experience in Social and Digital Marketing.
- Proven track record driving brand awareness, consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Excellent communication and English writing skills.

The business is renowned for its ethical approach to fashion, and innovative product range – revered the world over.
The role will require you to work with multiple stakeholders across departments and regions, working closely with the Global Marketing Director, Global Communications Director, and Global Visual Director to align on social messaging, and working with regional Head of Communications to localise global strategy on local social channels and digital networks, regularly providing reports and presenting to CEO.
You’ll be highly proficient at market, trend, and data analysis. You’ll be extremely passionate about the role, and willing to get stuck in. You won’t mind working outside of hours as required to get social content pushed out, including management of evening and weekend posts.
You’ll be a people person, with managerial experience, who takes pride in unifying creative output across markets and working with the creative teams to attend shoots as and when needed as a social guardian.
This is NOT a creative content production role, though, it is top level management of the global strategy and output for which you’ll be managing a budget of .5million.
An exceptional taste level is imperative for this role. As is a lover of fast-paced environments.

Social Media Editor / Assistant
Social / Ref: MMWT33965Emerging and disruptive beauty brand looking for Social Media Editor / Assistant.
The company is London-based and work 4 days a week in their office in Shoreditch.
They frequently travel to LA/Paris for work, and would love this person to come with and support them and help capture and manage content.
There is a lot of room for growth in this role, and you’ll be joining a nurturing and close-knit team whose background is mainly fashion, so they’d love to see someone from Beauty for this role for a new dimension. Though not essential.
Beauty, wellness and/or fitness brand experience is a huge plus.
This person will be in charge of
- Programming content or learning how to

Role Description below:
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to;
• Execute social media strategy for the brand across multiple platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
• Copywriting proofing, scheduling and publishing of content across all social media platforms. Ensure a consistent tone of voice.
• Update and manage of the brand global social calendar, collaborating with the Senior Content Strategist and wider team for approval and to ensure it aligns with the wider marketing calendar.
Implementation & Community Management
• Provide suggestions on assets to boost to the Paid Media team weekly.
• Lead and manage conversations within social platforms using the brand’s tone of voice to help create meaningful dialogue with our customers, driving product awareness, brand buzz and equity.
•Respond to comments and enquiries, work closely with customer care/ relevant stakeholders to escalate and resolve issues when necessary.
• Direct the monitoring of UGC from influencers, micro-influencers and fan community, selecting key posts for immediate reposting/inclusion in the forthcoming social calendar
• Work with our Social Creative to create original and engaging social content that will meet the objective of increasing following, engagement and brand awareness.
• Reaching relevant TikTok trends & sounds for the brand to explore.
• Reactive TikTok editing with a social first style on a case by case basis.
Analysis & Tracking
• Implement use of social media management and monitoring tools.
• Direct the development of bi-weekly social report and end of campaign analysis (considering KPIs; engagement, follower growth, content streams, frequency, timing, audience, competitor etc.)
• Deliver social listening reports on a monthly basis. Identify issues, patterns trends in consumer comments share information with the relevant departments
The ideal candidate will;
• Past experience in social media in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment can be an internship
• Beauty, wellness and/or fitness brand experience a ++++
• Passionate social native especially passionate about TikTok
• Aware of all beauty and wellness related trends and is on the pulse of popular culture both UK& US
• Can demonstrate correct taste levels and aesthetic for the brand, is a creative brand guardian
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using LATER - our social media scheduling tool of choice.
• Comfortable using Photoshop - specifically to mock up IG stories and Youtube thumbnails.
• Strong video editing skills with a TikTok specific style - this could be knowledge of Premier Pro or in app editing also works.
