Freelance Senior Art Director
Creative & Design / Ref: SM34220We are seeking a Freelance / Senior Art Director for a prestigious luxury fashion brand, based in Milan with projects extending to Shanghai, China.
This role is ideal for a dynamic and visionary Art Director with substantial experience in the luxury fashion industry and the flexibility to work internationally.
Lead and execute creative art direction for high-impact fashion campaigns and projects.
Collaborate closely with creative teams and stakeholders to develop visionary concepts that align with the brand’s aesthetics.
Oversee the creative process from concept to execution, ensuring high standards are met within deadlines.
Work effectively across multiple locations, adapting to and respecting cultural nuances within creative expressions.
Requirements:
Proven experience in Art Direction within the luxury fashion space.
Right to work in China, specifically in Shanghai.
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is essential.
Ability to be based in Milan or London and travel to Shanghai for project duration.

Middle Weight Art Director
Creative & Design / Ref: SM34239Art Director role in the luxury fashion agency.
This mid weight Art Director position involves working closely with luxury fashion brands, conceptualizing ideas, attending client meetings with premium brand founders in Milan, Paris, and NYC, collaborating with A-list celebrities, and managing various aspects of the creative process.
Remit.
- Conceptualization: Develop creative concepts for luxury fashion brands, ensuring they align with the brand’s image and vision.
· Client Interaction: Attend client meetings with founders of premium brands across different global locations, demonstrating eloquence in communication and supporting the in-house artists.
· Creative Collaboration: Work closely with artists to bring concepts to life, making real-time adjustments, as necessary.
· Iterative Conceptualization: Be prepared to revise and refine concepts multiple times until all stakeholders are satisfied.
· Presentation Skills: Create and deliver presentations using Keynote to showcase ideas and concepts to clients.
· Hands-On Involvement: Actively participate in shoots, including flying out to work with artists during critical phases.
· Commitment: Fully commit to the role, as it may involve demanding hours and international travel.
· Graphic Design: Possess the ability to execute concepts through graphic design.
· Postproduction: Manage post-production notes after shoots to ensure the final product meets expectations.
· Remote Work: Be open to remote work but also available for on-site meetings 3-4 days a week, shoots, and kick-offs when necessary.
· Multilingual Skills: Speaking more than one language is desirable given the international nature of the team.

· Substantial experience as an Art Director in the luxury high end of the fashion industry
· Conceptual Creativity: Strong ability to generate innovative and appealing creative concepts.
· Communication: Excellent communication skills to liaise with high-profile clients and A-list celebrities.
· Presentation Skills: Proficiency in creating and delivering presentations using Keynote or similar software.
· Graphic Design: Proficient graphic design skills to execute creative concepts.
· Flexibility: Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and demanding work environment.
· Commitment: Willingness to commit fully to the role, including travel and long hours when needed.
· Multilingualism: Speaking multiple languages is a plus for effective communication with an international team.
· Portfolio: Provide an up-to-date portfolio showcasing your relevant work.
· Availability: Be available to start the role within the specified time frame.

Thriving in a space with best known brands, working hand in hand with Founders to produce creatively challenging work of art.
The Studio in search of a new addition, someone who can organise and manage a comprehensive archive of completed projects, ensuring all materials are catalogued and easily accessible.
Conduct in-depth research into historical projects, gathering relevant information and materials. Work chronologically to piece together project histories, creating detailed records.
Approach past clients to gather insights, feedback, and documentation of historically significant projects. Building relationships with clients for future collaboration and to enrich the archive.
Work closely with the Founder to understand the vision and history of projects. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure the archive reflects the essence of the projects.
Develop innovative ways to present the archive, possibly through digital platforms or future exhibitions whilst ensuring the archive serves as a valuable resource for inspiration and reference.
