Motion Graphic Designer
Moving Image & Film / Ref: CC-33967Peas are once more collaborating with a great independent film and animation studio who is seeking a talented Motion Graphics Designer/Animator to join the team.
As a Motion Graphics Designer/Animator, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a range of high-quality motion graphics/animation projects from abstract motion graphics to motion typography to character animation. You will collaborate with in-house Producer and production teams, along with Design Director and other fellow creatives on a daily basis.
The role requires someone who is skilled in design and has a strong conceptual flair. You should be able to work independently as well as part of a team to explore briefs, generate ideas, and produce projects in a constructive and positive way. You will be involved in developing ideas and concepts, and progressing these creatives into fully fledges motion graphic video content for live projects and business pitches.
You should have a good sense of visual timing, narrative/storytelling, and the ability to work on several projects simultaneously. We are looking for someone who has solid organizational skills and a willingness to keep their projects tidy. Likewise, the ideal candidate should have the maturity and experience to manage freelance MGFX/animation artists where required. Additionally, you should be able to advise on the latest developments in the motion graphics/animation sector, be aware of trends and all that jazz.
Skills and Background required.
- Ideally a minimum of 5 years experience (though we consider all levels for this role!) as Motion Graphic Designer within a motion design agency environment.
- Hands on knowledge on motion design and animation workflows, from conception to completion.
- Ability to conceptualize and design styleframes, illustrate, design boards, animation, and art direct your ideas.
- Expert level skills in After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Intermediate level skills in Premiere-Pro, toon boom or procreate (or similar)
- Basic level experience in cinema 4d (or Maya)

Production Manager
Moving Image & Film / Ref: SP-33401Fast-growing film production agency based in London seeks an experienced Production Manager to join their team. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from pre-production to post-production.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the production budget and ensure all spending is kept within budgetary constraints
- Create and maintain production schedules and timelines
- Work closely with the director, producer, and other key personnel to ensure the smooth running of the production process
- Liaise with suppliers, crew members, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of services and equipment
- Coordinate location scouting and selection, as well as securing permits and insurance
- Manage the hiring and scheduling of cast and crew members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on set
- Oversee the post-production process, including editing, sound design, and visual effects
- Ensure timely delivery of the final product
Requirements:
- Someone who has been in a Production Manager role, at a film production agency
- Must have experience of domestic and international shoots,
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A good understanding of film production techniques and equipment
- The ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines
- A strong team player with excellent leadership skills
- A comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations in relation to film production

Senior 2D Motion Designer
Moving Image & Film / Ref: CC-34052Our client, a renowned branded content agency, is currently seeking a highly talented and creative Senior Motion Designer to join their team immediately for the next 2 months. They are looking for someone who is free now, and generally for the next few weeks.
This role sits in a branded content team, within a progressive communications agency. You can expect to work on plenty of diverse content here for global brands.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and conceptualize ideas for motion design projects
• Produce storyboards that align with the suggested design style and client expectations
• Working quickly to get designs over to client
• To design and animate for a 2 min film by mid-June
Requirements:
• Ability to generate fresh and innovative ideas
• Strong storyboarding, design and animation skills
• High proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to deliver quickly in response to client feedback
• A slick, current showreel that demonstrates your creativity and technical ability
