Opportunity for a Senior Branding Designer within a forward thinking Creative Design Studio…
The studio are famed for their forward thinking, innovative Design and ability to always create ground breaking work.
As a Senior Designer, your primary responsibility is to lead the creative output and delivery of projects from start to finish. You will take charge of driving projects forward by working collaboratively, managing the team’s work, and providing clear guidance. The projects will be a broad range of Branding, Graphic Design and Campaigns pieces with high profile brands from the realm of Sports and Lifestyles brands.
Your role involves developing well-crafted and compelling design work that supports strategic and conceptual thinking, as well as presenting confidently to clients.
You possess a self-motivated approach and actively seek opportunities to enhance client briefs. You are also comfortable suggesting changes in approach or presenting studio project ideas to managers.
Additionally, you play a crucial role in mentoring junior team members and providing support to Design Directors and Creative Directors.
Project Responsibilities:
- Gain a clear understanding of project briefs and timelines.
- Working on Branding and Conceptual Design projects
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and attend meetings.
- Promptly communicate any concerns about projects to the Senior Team.
- Ensure the team has clear instructions and tasks to follow.
- Foster clear communication within the team and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure adherence to the filing structure.
- Uphold high creative standards.
- Identify innovative ways to exceed project requirements.
- Collaborate effectively within the team.
- Inspire and motivate designers to develop their skills and explore different design approaches.
- Manage the work output of freelancers and external partners.
- Provide support to the design team in resolving technical and design-related challenges.
- Create clear and engaging presentations.
- Deliver high-level concept presentations to clients.
- Maintain professional conduct when interacting with clients.
- Accurately create and approve final artwork files.
- Develop case studies and necessary social assets.
Personal Responsibilities:
- Ensure a high level of personal creative output.
- Take ownership of your objectives and personal development, actively seeking opportunities to learn new skills and adopt innovative work methods.
- Demonstrate strong and constructive communication skills in all aspects of your role and within the organisation.
- Represent the agency when communicating with third parties.
- Stay informed and up to date with the latest trends and developments in the design industry.
- Maintain awareness of current design processes.
