Associate Strategy Director
Strategy / Ref: MWT33979A digital strategy and conscious storytelling studio who partner with brands to craft digital ecosystems, social concepts and content, are looking for a Associate Strategy Director (of frustrated but talented Senior Strategist).
Our client identifies stories worth talking about through localised research, which they craft into concepts for world renowned / household names in sports, lifestyle, tech and FMCG. More recently they have also been producing campaigns, too.
Strategy is at the core of everything they do. The two founders are strategic / creative brains who are looking for a confident, digitally fluent and culturally tuned strategist to join a team of misfits. If you’re empathetically driven, birth ideas from audience insight and get nerdy about the digital landscape, you’re perfect for this role.
What the role entails: you’ll lead big picture ideation and craft content roll out plans – from writing narrative to identifying culture shifting collaborators. This role shepherds a strategy from client brief and workshop to research, into ideation, narrative positioning, content strategy and tactical expressions.
The perfect candidate will be comfortable working directly with and presenting to senior clients as well as steering research teams and briefing creative collaborators – as well as be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that shift culture and push brands to be better.
Working fast and presenting your ideas in a visually compelling way is essential. We are storytellers.
This role partners daily with the Creative Strategy Director, dreaming up industry defining ideas through the mission of infiltrate from within, and works in lock step with our Partnerships Team to deliver prompt, exceptional work for our clients.

ROLE& RESPONSIBILITIES
● Creative Strategy + Research
● Dissecting the client brief and identifying job to be done
● Distilling macro and micro opportunities
● Work collaboratively with the delivery team to ensure we are hitting deadlines, building relationships with clients and representing the studio at the highest level
● Formulating channel and audience insight, data and updates
● Researching and presenting digital cultural trends
● Strong copywriting and keynote skills, sell and tell the story
● Working directly with clients, pitching, presenting and steering work
● Oversight of any researcher resources
● Concepting innovative ideas for social and digital, always in service of our mission and the client brief
● Staying on the pulse of culture and platform trends
● Passion for intersectionality, ethics and conscious storytelling
● Interest in Web3, metaverse, emerging tech
● Agency and in house brand experience is a plus
● Design experience/skills is a plus for beautifying decks
