A unique opportunity to join a leading artists team within a prominent design studio. The studio itself is multi-disciplinary, however this role focuses on the art of sound. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music and the flexibility to adapt sound design into physical sculpture. If you have mastered music theory and can compose classical music arrangements as well as have knowledge for electronic music fabrication, then this will be for you.

You’ll be leading projects while being a team player with strong communication skills, acting as the main point of contact for sound clients and delegating tasks to your team. You will be facilitating brainstorm sessions and generating ideas with your team and then transferring it into a presentable idea. You’ll be able to take initiative and ensure the smooth running of projects from beginning to end. They are a busy team so being able to organise yourself as well as your team is important.

You’ll have

• Senior experience of either Ableton Live or Logic Pro.
• Knowledge of Max MSP or Max For Live.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of sample libraries, VSTs and samplers.
• Deep knowledge of recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio.
• Grade 8 level of music theory and the ability to read and write notated scores.
• Strong sense of relative pitch. The ability to be able to analyse and transcribe.
• Skills in Keynote, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Google platforms.
• An understanding of basic programming MAX/MSP would be a bonus.
