We are recruiting at both mid weight and senior levels – Salary dependent on experience
Our client is an incredibly successful company that builds and refurbishes offices for globally recognised brands (eg; tech, media, financial companies).
Their foundations are based on honest and open beliefs and total focus on the client and their goals. With a varied talented team working across a variety of fields of expertise, they are now looking for a superstar talented graphic designer to join a team that has been collaborating for almost a decade
A bit more about the role,
This role will require someone who is not just interested in taking on a challenge in an area that is not always seen as glamorous, but that is keen in growing, as long-term positions and career development are at the forefront of our client’s values
Most of their work is won via super engaging tenders, which represent the strategy and organisational culture through a bespoke presentation. There’s a very big success rate and a massive percentage of projects that are from repeat clients.
These documents should be impeccably produced as they are not just informing why prospective clients should be interested, they are justifying in every way why our client is the best choice. These are presented in a magazine-like style printed tender with emphasis in editorial design, print finishing and 3d qualities. They showcase the care, effort and value our client’s team put into their production, simplifies communication via design choices and aesthetic, and since the document runs are small there can be ambition with production values
A bit more about the right person,
The ideal person will be a pair of fresh eyes in a team where everyone knows each other and has been doing this type of work for many years. It needs to be someone highly conceptual and with loads of fresh ideas, that can push the quality of the presentation documents and elevate them to a whole new realm.
Each project lasts on average 4-6 weeks, so it can be quite fast turnaround and you will need to deal well with that pressure when it happens.
You will be part of a team that is involved in pitching, so communication is key since you’ll have to be pulling content from different sources to help complete this bespoke piece of communication
This is a mixed role where you’ll alternate between the technical and the creative sides of things, although there’s a lot of emphasis in the creative aspect;
You’re very aware and knowledgeable on both digital and print, you know trends and are curious to explore what’s coming up next.
Ideas, Ideas, Ideas, fresh and out of the box; the ideal person will likely be obsessed with fonts and colours, love coming up with concepts but also figure out how to structure information and has a good skillset for layouts. You will be able to translate complex ideas through design, look at dense text or numbers and break down the message in clearer, more fun, simpler or interesting ways.
You’re a team worker but also a self-starter, that is hungry to change things, able to work to strict deadlines and with big clients collaboratively, having experience with 3D Illustration and infographics with awesome layout skills.
