Our client is a large and established company that deals with large global campaigns and adaptations for brands.
They’re a multidisciplinary and global team of marketing technology and production experts who believe in adding value every time they create, reuse, manage or deliver assets.
Working in creative production, digital asset management and marketing technology, they have built an enviable list of clients.
Currently on the hunt for a superstar Motion Graphics Artist to join an amazing production team who specialises in high end adaptations & production of content for global clients / brands such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Baileys & Carlsberg and others. This VFX role falls within a small production team; taking responsibility for the creation of marketing and advertising assets through production for delivery to end media or as requested by the Producers.
So, what will you be doing?
You’ll have advanced Motion Graphic skills to drive and deliver creative post-production and edit solutions
You will engage with a variety of projects, from adapting and localizing TV commercials through to creatively animating for DOOH, the scope of work can also include brand enhancement, pack / label changes, cutdowns & re-edits.
When required, you will be able to discuss and have creative input and involvement in the design and development of projects, so storyboarding and animating ideas from client’s briefs will be something you can do easily
You have a good understanding and get to the heart of a problem by challenging assumptions and digging deeper, thinking outside of the box and coming up with innovative options and driving innovative thinking.
While ensuring all broadcast, social, digital material meets relevant specification & standards, you must be able to be articulate and in constant communication and liaison with both internal teams/producers to ensure workflow is completed to client satisfaction. You’ll be working collaboratively with all departments within the company.
Who are you?
Relevant industry experience, self starter that works well under pressure and keeps it cool, confident with calm amenable demeanor
Prolific in Adobe CC package, After Effects, Photoshop, Premier, InDesign, Illustrator
Strong AE compositing skills, a keen eye for typography, layout, and text animation.
You’re experienced working with industry standard plug-ins, i.e. Video Co-pilot & Red Giant Trapcode suite.
Know your Cinema 4D – you’re expected to be able to do 3D modelling, texturing using 2D artwork, lighting setups and understanding of rendering pipelines (ProRender / Physical render, knowledge of Octane and Redshift is a bonus)
Familiar with post-production work flows and digital file formats/codecs but also a good working and operational knowledge of workflow and folder systems on production servers.
Furthermore you’re expected to have high knowledge of broadcast standards, and a good level of problem solving and troubleshooting on related hardware and software issues.
Impeccable client facing skills and the ability to explain technical aspects of a project for client understanding are very important. Also good presentation skills and good working knowledge of budgets
Finally, the ideal person will be an enthusiastic multitasker, solution and innovation driven, someone that is constantly staying abreast of the latest developments – including a keen interest in updates in the industry.
Apart from a couple things that can be beneficial:
- working knowledge of Autodesk Flame
- an interest or experience with camera operation and lighting is welcome.
